Obsession

This is about our Dog, a lab crossed with a pointer. Her age (13 1/2) doesn't make any difference to her if there is even the faintest sound of a food stealing opportunity...I think she is obsessed with food.

Thing is, our dog isn't as mean looking as this dog. But is is another Illustration Friday drawing.

Pen and watercolour on paper. Did this in prison (where I teach graphic design) whilst trying to demonstrate both how to use watercolour paint and how to generate ideas.

Where do iDEAs come from?

Open doorways in pictures always represent 'to the other side'. Break on Through. The fish has the weight of the world on its shoulders and always carries the consequence.

Thing is, what does the fish represent? This is another Illustration Friday.

Another IF production. Sometimes its hard to find the time to do this, but Ive a re-energised sense of purpose to make art in my sketch book. The background is an invitation card to an exhibition Im involved with, in Ipswich, opening Monday. If you live in the East Anglia and near Ipswich, come along to the Waterfront Gallery, UCS building 6pm on Tuesday evening.
